Composition of non-metallic inclusions and microstructure of electric arc coating formed using the flux-cored wire of Fe – C – Si – Mn – Сr – Ni – Mo system

The article considers the study of composition non-metallic inclusions and microstructure electric arc coating using flux-cored wire Fe – C Si Mn Cr Ni Mo system. Formation was carried out ASAW-1250 automatic welding machine by investigated wire. In order to influence level contamination deposited metal with oxide inclusions, aluminum gas purification dust introduced into (instead amorphous carbon). Composition determined XRF-1800 spectrometer. Microstructure coatings studied optical microscopy. phase elemental compositions were scanning electron microscopy on MIRA 3 LMH instrument. Non-metallic in consist oxides silicon, fluorine, calcium, magnesium oxides. darker component inclusion, which looks like rectilinear crystals directed from surface deep has a similar composition, but differs somewhat content chemical elements. A small dark rounded shape (aluminum oxides) is observed inclusion. Traces sulfur are highlighted along contour globules. Metallographic analysis showed that layer coarse-needle martensite. structure uniform, dendritic (columnar) characteristic for cast metal. results conducted investigations allow measures be developed reduce containing elements sodium aluminum, turn may adversely affect physical mechanical properties layer, example, refining additives inclusions.
